Specialised large-format configurations
Container Projects Ltd supplies high-capacity units for complex logistics and workspace requirements:
- 40ft Open Side & Tunnel: For full-length side access or dual-end entry.
- 45ft Side Curtain: Intermodal curtainsiders for rapid pallet distribution.
- 40ft Conversions: Large-scale modified offices, workshops, and plant rooms.
Delivery access and logistics
Delivering a 40ft or 45ft container requires an articulated hiab vehicle. The delivery site must have clear access with a minimum width of 10ft and vertical clearance of 16ft. Because of the articulated length, a clear straight run of at least 100ft is usually required for positioning. Units must be placed on firm level ground (concrete, tarmac, or compacted gravel) to prevent the frame from twisting, which is vital for maintaining the security of the doors.
